Sensors & Integrations
Shot Insights can pull in current conditions from supported weather tools or let you enter the weather yourself. That weather data feeds the ballistic solution used across QuickSight, QuickShot, Long Range, and other parts of the app.
Ways to provide weather
Section titled “Ways to provide weather”- Connect a Kestrel or Kestrel Drop
- Scan for a nearby Ruuvi sensor
- Use a WindZero setup for live wind-aware workflows
- Enter manual weather when you are not using an external sensor
Open the Sensors screen
Section titled “Open the Sensors screen”- Open Sensors in Shot Insights.
- Check the list of found or saved weather sources.
- Connect, scan, or edit the source you want to use.
- Return to your ballistic tool and confirm the solution reflects the current conditions.
About plan access
Section titled “About plan access”Some sensor workflows may require Shot Insights Pro. If a feature is not included with your plan, the app will show the upgrade path in context.
