Manage Profiles
Your profile list is where you keep different rifles, loads, and variations organized. A little cleanup here makes every other Shot Insights feature easier to use.
Edit a profile
Section titled “Edit a profile”- Open Ballistics.
- Select the profile you want to change.
- Update the fields you need, such as the name, zero range, or muzzle velocity.
- Save the changes and reopen the profile if you want to confirm the updated values.
Duplicate a profile
Section titled “Duplicate a profile”- Open your profile list.
- Choose the profile you want to copy.
- Use the duplicate option to create a second version.
- Rename the copy so you can tell it apart from the original.
Duplicating is handy when you want to test a different zero, muzzle velocity, or drag value without overwriting a profile you already trust.
Delete a profile
Section titled “Delete a profile”- Open your profile list.
- Find the profile you no longer need.
- Use the delete action.
- Confirm the removal.
Delete only after you are sure you will not need that setup again.
Set the profile you want to use
Section titled “Set the profile you want to use”- Open Ballistics.
- Choose the profile for your current rifle and load.
- Make it the active profile before opening features like QuickSight, QuickShot, or Range Cards.
- Keep names short but specific.
- Duplicate before making a major change.
- Review Compare Profiles when you want to see how two loads differ side by side.
